Inspiration from Fashion Layouts

August 9, 2009

Inspiration can come from so many many places. My favorite is flickr. I love flipping through the fashion layouts vintage and new to look for inspiration. It can be a look, an outfit, a feel. There are a lot of “vintage style” weddings out there that seem to translate into rustic, shabby chicness. Which is lovely. But I am such a fan of vintage glam, vintage fabulousness. Women don’t dress like they do back in the day and it is a shame. Here are some I pull and am inspired by currently, I hope you feel inspired too.

Tammy Manet‘s photostream contains some lovely pictures of Karen Elson so reminds me remarkable of the models Richard Avedon loved to photographs and whose photography I still admire today.

Just because sometimes a girl needs to remember she is a woman, especially on her wedding day. Nothing but glamour, not from concentrate 😉
