Favors Part 2

I am D-I-Y capable! See!

I am D-I-Y capable! See!

I am D-I-Y capable! Oh ye of little faith. Granted it looks like a child did it (I like to think that it is part of its charm!). This one is for my future mother-in-law. It says “thank you for raising your boy to be the man of my dreams”. I know, I know, a little corny and my Honey will argue that he grew up to be the man of my dreams all by himself thank you very much. So every one of my bridemaids and mothers will have one as part of their favors (obviously with different sayings).

This is super cute! I might steal this idea 🙂 What materials do you need to make this project?

Vintage hankies (I got mine from a vintage store for $3.50 a piece), embroidery thread, water erasable fabric pen, and a hoop (all under $5!). You might try hankies with thicker fabric. My sister’s hanky is of thicker linen held the stitches up better (not as stretched out as you see there!) Show me when you are done!
